(1) Paper Feed Roller Gap Adjustment

It consists of two sets of upper and lower paper feed rollers. The upper roller uses a steel shaft covered with rubber; the rubber material is moderately soft and wear-resistant, ensuring smooth and accurate paper feeding; the lower roller uses an embossed chrome-plated steel roller, which has high friction and a long service life. The gap between the upper and lower rollers is adjusted manually via a quick self-locking mechanism. Flexo printing company of Guangzhou HS machine' gap between the two rollers is approximately 0.3mm less than the thickness of the cardboard. Do not adjust it too tightly, as this may crush the cardboard.

① Front Paper Feed Roller Adjustment

● Adjust according to the cardboard thickness using the buttons on the panel;

● Adjust the value via the touchscreen;

● Adjust until the cardboard is lightly clamped between the two rollers; if there are capping lines, the gap between the two rollers needs to be reduced according to the depth of the capping lines, otherwise slippage may occur.

● Adjusting the stroke of the cam box can reduce the physical crushing of the cardboard.

(2) System Zeroing: After attaching the new printing plate and closing the machine, press the zeroing button on the control panel (II). The paper feeding mechanism will automatically return to the zero position. Simultaneously, the printing section, slotting section, and die-cutting section must also be returned to the zero position. All machine adjustments are based on this.

(3) Paper Feeding Mode Selection: Generally, continuous paper feeding mode is selected; when the paperboard length is greater than 1180mm, interleaved feeding mode is selected.In paper mode, when testing a single sheet, select the "Single Sheet Feed" mode.

 

Adjusting the Rear Paper Holder Position: Adjust the distance between the rear paper holder and the front baffle electrically or automatically according to the length of the cardboard. Adjust forward or backward according to the cardboard specifications and degree of curvature. The distance between the front baffle and the rear holder should be approximately equal to the cardboard width (1-2 mm). Then, manually adjust the rear paper holder's height using the handwheel to achieve the desired position. Note: Do not allow the entire weight of the cardboard to rest on the feed rollers, as this can cause misalignment, skewing, or other malfunctions due to excessive load.
